Deployment / Implementation Engineer
Implementation-focused engineering role across tenant setup, environment configuration, rollout execution, release checklists, and production deployments
About Agency Intelligence
We're built by agency founders who understand the chaos. Teams adopt AI piecemeal, with different tools, different prompts, and little visibility into usage, cost, or ROI.
Our platform is three parts: ai/OS manages routing, access, governance, and cost controls. ai/Tools is where work happens across chat, agents, apps, and integrations. ai/Dashboard shows usage, cost, and ROI.
As a Deployment / Implementation Engineer, you'll help take finished product work live across tenants and environments. You'll make rollouts repeatable, accurate, and less dependent on senior engineers.
The role
You'll own deployment and implementation work after product features have been built and tested. That includes tenant setup, environment configuration, release checklists, rollout steps, and production updates.
This is not primarily a net-new product development role. It's a strong fit for someone technical, organized, careful, and comfortable working through structured systems without losing attention to detail.
You'll work closely with product and platform engineers to get tested work deployed cleanly and consistently.
What you'll do
- 1
Set up tenant environments
Configure new tenant deployments, environment settings, and implementation details needed to bring new accounts live.
- 2
Own rollout execution
Deploy tested updates to production environments using structured rollout steps and release checklists.
- 3
Reconfigure live environments
Update settings, deployment inputs, and implementation details when product changes require tenant or environment changes.
- 4
Improve deployment processes
Document and improve release steps, implementation workflows, and recurring setup patterns over time.
- 5
Escalate issues clearly
Catch implementation issues early, troubleshoot what you can, and hand deeper bugs or platform problems back to product and platform engineering with clear detail.
What we're looking for
Core Skills
- Comfortable working with technical systems, environments, and configuration
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline
- Able to follow structured release and implementation workflows
- Good written communication and documentation habits
Deployment and Implementation
- Comfortable managing rollout steps, checklist-driven deployments, and recurring setup tasks
- Comfortable with light troubleshooting during deployment and implementation work
- Able to spot issues, document them clearly, and escalate when needed
- Comfortable with CLI-based workflows or simple scripts
Technical Familiarity
- Basic familiarity with environments, variables, and release processes
- Comfortable learning deployment workflows across managed platforms and internal tools
- Familiarity with Docker, Railway, Vercel, or similar deployment platforms
- Basic JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python knowledge
Team Skills
- Reliable, organized, and consistent in execution
- Eager to learn from product and platform engineers and improve processes over time
Tech stack
You don't need to know everything on day one. Core systems you'll work around include deployment platforms, environment configuration, release workflows, and the tools our product and platform engineers use to ship updates.
